Motion is worthpreserving.

Centinel Spine is focused exclusively on total disc replacement. Our prodisc platform is the only one in the U.S. approved for one- and two-level use in both the cervical and lumbar spine.

Centinel Spine

Total disc replacement is all we do.

Fusion permanently eliminates movement at the treated level. Total disc replacement removes the damaged disc and replaces it with an implant designed to restore disc height and preserve motion. We build the prodisc platform for that one purpose, in the cervical and the lumbar spine.

Cervical and lumbar

Four cervical systems and one lumbar system, all from a common motion-preserving design philosophy.

One and two levels

FDA approval for one-level and two-level procedures across cervical and lumbar indications.

Two prodisc cervical discs implanted at adjacent levels on a spine model
prodisc C Vivo and prodisc C SK at two levels
Match-the-Disc

Five discs. One design philosophy.

Close to 100 implant configurations across fixation methods, endplate geometries, footprints and disc heights, so surgeons can match the disc to the patient.

prodisc L lumbar total disc replacement
prodisc L

The only total disc replacement system in the U.S. approved for two-level use in the lumbar spine.

Cobalt chrome alloy endplates and an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene inlay, with Anatomic Endplates that shift the lordotic angle to the inferior endplate.

24anatomical combinations
4Anatomic Endplate constructs
L3 to S1indicated levels

prodisc C Vivo, prodisc C SK and prodisc C Nova are FDA-approved for both 1- and 2-level use. prodisc C is FDA-approved for 1-level use only. The prodisc C Total Disc Replacement has been determined to be safe and effective in the treatment of intractable symptomatic cervical disc disease (SCDD) at one level from C3 to C7. Please refer to the instructions for use for full indications, contraindications, warnings and precautions.

prodisc CORE Technology

A fixed core at the heart of every prodisc.

A novel application of the established ball and socket. A fixed core and an optimized core radius together provide stability while resisting shear forces, and facilitate controlled motion to protect the facet complex.

Fixed center of rotation

The fixed nature of the core, as opposed to a mobile or floating core, keeps the center of rotation stable throughout the life of the implant.

Optimized core radius

Engineered to provide coupled motion: controlled translation with flexion-extension.

Time-tested materials

Cobalt-chromium endplates, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene inlays and titanium surface coatings used for decades in spine and large-joint arthroplasty.

Streamlined instrumentation

One instrument set supports all configurations for the majority of the cervical portfolio, and one set for the lumbar portfolio.

Clinical evidence
